Refund policy
Effective date: 29 October 2026
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This policy applies to goods purchased directly from the MyBoots website. Orders remain subject to the terms supplied when they were placed; updates do not retrospectively reduce your rights.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
Christmas 2026 extended returns
To give you more time when shopping for Christmas, we are extending our voluntary change-of-mind return period for eligible orders placed directly through the MyBoots website between 31 October and 24 December 2026, inclusive.
For these orders, you must contact us and post your return by 31 January 2027, or by the end of your usual 30-day return period starting the day after delivery, whichever gives you longer. For a single order delivered in separate parcels, the usual 30-day period starts the day after the final item is delivered.
The extension applies to eligible returns for a refund or an exchange. Size and colour exchanges remain subject to availability.
Email shop@myboots.co.uk with your order number and the items you wish to return or exchange. Please follow the return procedure below.
The applicable deadline is the date by which you must contact us and post the goods, not the date by which the parcel must reach our returns centre. Please retain proof of posting. There is no additional 14-day posting period under this voluntary Christmas extension.
This extension changes the return deadline only. All other conditions applying to our additional 30-day returns offer remain in place, including product-condition requirements, return-postage charges, gift-set requirements, exchange arrangements and refund terms.
Orders placed outside the qualifying dates remain subject to the usual applicable returns arrangements.
Your statutory cancellation rights, rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods, and any mandatory consumer protections in your country remain unaffected.
1. Our 30-day returns policy
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return period, starting the day after delivery.
Your UK statutory cancellation rights
For most online purchases, you have 14 days from the day after delivery to tell us you wish to cancel, without giving a reason. You then have a further 14 days after notifying us to send the goods back.
You may inspect items as you reasonably would in a shop, including trying boots on indoors on a clean surface. We may make a proportionate deduction if handling beyond what is reasonably necessary has reduced their value.
Missing packaging or tags does not automatically prevent a statutory cancellation.
Our additional 30-day returns offer
When relying on our additional offer rather than a statutory cancellation right, you must both contact us and post the goods back within the 30-day return period, or by the extended Christmas deadline above where applicable. There is no additional 14-day posting period under these voluntary offers.
To qualify:
- Items must be unused, unwashed, unaltered and in their original condition.
- Boots may only have been tried on indoors on a clean surface and must not have been worn outdoors.
- Socks and gloves must be unworn.
- Original tags must remain attached, and all supplied packaging and accessories must be included.
- Items must be free from dirt, scuffs, stains, odours and other signs of use.
We may decline a return under these voluntary offers if these conditions are not met. This does not affect your statutory rights.
For a single order delivered in separate parcels, the applicable 30-day return period starts the day after the final item is delivered.
2. Changing or cancelling an order
We process orders quickly. If you would like to change or cancel your order, email shop@myboots.co.uk as soon as possible, quoting your order number.
We will try to help, but cannot guarantee that we can amend an order or stop dispatch once processing has begun.
If we cannot stop dispatch, we will explain how to return the items. This does not affect your statutory cancellation rights.
3. How to request a return
Email shop@myboots.co.uk with:
- Your order number or other proof of purchase.
- The items you wish to return.
- Whether you would like a refund or an exchange.
If something is wrong with an item, describe the issue. Photographs can help us assess it, but they are not a condition of exercising your statutory rights.
Our customer service hours are Monday–Saturday, 9am–5pm UK time. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
We will provide return instructions and, for UK returns, a prepaid shipping label. You do not need our approval to exercise a statutory cancellation right, and waiting for instructions does not remove that right.
Package your items securely, include your order number and retain proof of posting.

4. Return postage
UK change-of-mind returns
We provide a prepaid return label.
When you use our label for a change-of-mind return for a refund, the charge is £3.99 per return parcel. This charge applies per parcel, not per item, and does not include a return-processing or administration fee.
For a refund, the applicable label charge will be deducted from your refund. Your first UK size exchange per original order includes a free prepaid return label. For further UK size exchanges and colour-only exchanges, we will send you an invoice for the applicable return-label charge.
For a statutory cancellation, you may arrange your own return postage instead. The prepaid-label charge applies only if you use our label.
United States, Canadian and Australian change-of-mind returns
You are responsible for arranging and paying for return postage to our returns centre in Tamworth, United Kingdom, at the address above.
Please contact shop@myboots.co.uk before sending your return so we can provide the return address and customs instructions. We recommend using a tracked postal service and keeping proof of postage.
The £3.99 UK label charge does not apply to US, Canadian or Australian returns.
Providing return instructions does not make your statutory rights conditional on our approval.
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed items
MyBoots covers the necessary return-postage costs where you are entitled to a remedy. No return-label charge applies.
Please contact us so we can provide a suitable return method.
5. Refunds
MyBoots issues refunds to your original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.
UK statutory cancellations
We will issue your refund without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever happens first.
If we have offered to collect the goods, the refund deadline is instead 14 days after you notify us of cancellation.
When you cancel your entire order, we also refund any charge for our least expensive standard delivery option. Any extra amount paid for express or upgraded delivery is not refundable for a change-of-mind cancellation.
We do not charge a cancellation, restocking or refund-processing fee. Any lawful deduction for reduced item value will be explained. An applicable charge for a prepaid return label you have used is explained above.
Returns under our additional 30-day offer or Christmas extension
We will refund the amount paid for eligible returned products within 14 days of receiving them, less any applicable prepaid-label charge.
Original delivery charges are not refundable under these voluntary offers unless required by law.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund. If you need help locating an issued refund, contact us.
6. Exchanges
You may request an exchange for another size or colour of the same product, subject to availability and the applicable return conditions.
Exchanges are available to UK, US, Canadian and Australian customers, with no additional exchange administration fee. Your first UK size exchange per original order includes a free prepaid return label and free standard delivery of the replacement. Return postage remains payable for further UK size exchanges, colour-only exchanges and US, Canadian and Australian change-of-mind exchanges.
We arrange the replacement after receiving and checking the original items and receiving any applicable return-label payment. We do not dispatch an exchange replacement before the original items have been returned.
MyBoots covers standard delivery of the replacement.
If you originally paid for next-day or another upgraded delivery service, the exchange will still be sent by standard delivery. The original delivery upgrade does not carry over.
We will confirm the estimated processing and delivery timeframe when arranging your replacement.
For US and Canadian exchange replacements, import duties are prepaid. Local taxes may still be payable. We will explain any known additional charges before arranging the replacement.
If your requested replacement is unavailable, we will contact you to discuss an alternative or an applicable refund.
These arrangements do not replace any right you have to a refund or another statutory remedy.
7. Gift sets
To receive a full change-of-mind refund for a gift set, return the complete set, including the boots, socks and gloves.
Under our additional 30-day offer or Christmas extension, we do not accept partial gift-set returns, and every component must meet the return conditions.
If a component is faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed, contact us. Your statutory rights are not conditional on unrelated components remaining unused.
8. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods
Email shop@myboots.co.uk with your order details and a description of the issue.
UK customers normally have a 30-day right to reject goods that are faulty or do not conform to the contract. After that period, rights to repair or replacement—and, where applicable, a price reduction or refund—may still apply.
Where you are entitled to a refund for non-conforming goods, we will issue it without undue delay and within 14 days of agreeing that entitlement.
Where a repair or replacement is required by law, it will be provided at no cost to you, including necessary delivery costs.
Our change-of-mind deadline, packaging requirements and attached-tag conditions do not restrict these rights. Normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse is not, by itself, a product fault.
9. International customers
Mandatory consumer protections in your country remain unaffected and take priority where they provide greater protection.
Our voluntary return conditions do not remove rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
